Brief Program Description:

 

 

This program seeks to address researchers' challenges in using investigational pharmacies for clinical trials. The panel discussion will emphasize federal, state and institutional standards for investigational pharmacies. Presentations will provide guidance on investigational pharmacy management and advice on compliance with regulations.

 

Program Objectives:

1. Comprehend local and national regulations related to drug administration

2. Understand the complexity of investigational drug management

3. Identify recent investigational drug management changes that may impact your research program

4. Apply the knowledge gained in evaluating real-life investigational pharmacy scenarios to your research

 

 

Program Agenda: Registration begins at 6:00pm

Exit 28 South (Willis Ave.) Continue on Willis for 2.5 miles. Turn right on Second St. Proceed to Hospital.

Long Island Expressway

Exit 37 South (Willis Ave.) Turn right on Second St. Proceed to Hospital

Long Island Railroad

To Mineola Station. Cross viaduct, heading north toward Second St. Turn left on Second St. Proceed to Hospital.

Southern State Parkway

Exit 19 North (Peninsula Blvd.) to S. Franklin St. Left on S. Franklin St., which becomes N. Franklin St. and then Franklin Ave. After crossing Old Country Rd., Franklin becomes Mineola Blvd. Stay on Mineola Blvd to 2nd St. Turn left on 2nd St. Proceed to Hospital.
